On Thursday March 1, 2018 Emily Worth picked the Ace of Spades in the St. Andrews Chase the Ace winning a grand total of $96, 649.38! The St. Andrews Community Centre and Volunteer Fire Department sends out a huge thank you to all those who attended Chase the Ace, either a few times or every week. “Like” the St. Andrews Community Centre Facebook page HERE for a notice of when they will start a new round of Chase the Ace.
At last week’s Chase the Ace, Clay Sangster won $2406 and picked the 8 of spades. This means that Chase the Ace continues this Thursday January 25, 2018 with the jackpot up over $50,000! Be sure to arrive early! Tickets are sold between 7:00-9:00pm at both the St. Andrews Community Centre and the St. Andrews Consolidated School.

After a weather related cancellation last week, Chase The Ace is back! The jackpot is close to $43,000 and will be growing again tonight. Don’t forget that tickets are sold between 7-9pm and tickets will be sold at the community centre as well as the school. Proceeds from Chase the Ace benefit the St. Andrews Community Centre and the St. Andrews Volunteer Fire Department.
The Community Centre and Volunteer Fire Department have cancelled Chase the Ace for this evening, January 4, due to the weather and road conditions. Chase the Ace will return on January 11 with ticket sales running from 7:00-8:50pm and the draw at approximately 9:15pm.

At the Chase the Ace on December 28, the St. Andrews Community Centre donated $500 to the Antigonish Community Food Bank. This donation was matched by those in attendance. In total, $1060.45 was donated to the Antigonish Community Food Bank. Thank you for your support of this worthwhile cause! For more information on our local food bank, click HERE.
Tonight there is a New Years dance at the St. Andrews Community Centre with One Plus One playing. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the door for $25. The dance goes from 9:00pm – 1:00am. Hope to see you there!
The St. Andrews Community Centre had their largest crowd yet at Thursday’s Chase the Ace with the jackpot over $42,000. The winner on December 28 was Lisa MacNeil who won $3235 but was not able to draw the Ace for the big prize. There are now 17 cards left.
The next Chase the Ace will be Thursday January 4 with entertainment by Darren and Paul Teasdale. The doors open at 7pm with ticket sales going until 8:50pm and the draw at approximately 9:15pm. Due to the large numbers expected, you can go to either the Community Centre or St. Andrews Consolidated School. Please note that bar service will only be available at the Community Centre.
The Ace of spades eluded Jason Burns at the St. Andrews Chase the Ace on Dec 14th, but he won $1,710 and commented how great it is that so many are winning a good amount each week because the Ace of spades is still in play. The jackpot was sitting at $34,815 and will be carried over to Thursday, December 22nd. Come try your luck in week 34 of Chase the Ace!
On Thursday, Dec 7th, Peggy Zinck went home with $1,640. so the Ace will still be up for grabs on Thursday, December 14th with a growing jackpot, now standing at a whopping $32,250.00!
