The Adult Learn to Curl program is starting on Sunday November 12 at the Highlander Curling Club. In this 6 week program, participants will learn the proper techniques related to delivery and sweeping. They will learn the rules of the sport and will have the opportunity to use the skills they’ve learned in a game setting. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants will become more comfortable being on the ice.
Participants are only required to bring clean sneakers and warm clothes. All other equipment will be provided by the club at no additional cost. Protective head wear is available as well as equipment that can help individuals if they have back or knee issues.
If participants decide to join an adult league in January, the cost of the program will be credited toward the league registration fee.
If you are interested in registering, or have additional questions, contact Roselle Lawlor. See the attached poster for additional details.
